Shows how an oil well is drilled and crude oil is brought up from the ground and started on its way to the refinery. While live action is used to show glimpses of a drilling crew at work animation reveals what is taking place below the surface of the ground.

Though the thought of George Pal directing a ephemeral picture sure is interesting, although there is SOME miniature work here, it's still mostly drab "How we get the oil from out of the ground picture". Not very exciting at all.

Good old film
There was a black and white copy of this on YouTube that had some sound problems. This one is in better shape. For its time, this was probably a high budget production. It discusses methods in how oil is drilled and also the huge scope and size of the oil industry. They find oil and then there is the song of oil. LOL
